Welcome to our community! We created this tour of our local community. We hope you enjoy it! After exploring what we have in our community, we each chose one feature to share. We wrote our scripts and recorded in front of a green screen. Then we added a picture in the background and voila!

We had an assembly about respect and kindness today. We talked about how we can greet others respectfully and that can make them feel good. We will also use these shout out cards to tell other kids we appreciate them being kind and respectful to us. Then they will get posted on the "throw kindness" bulletin board! #lifeinroom4 #mrsdentscarcello

Assembly!

This month it was our turn to host the assembly! If we wanted to we could have speaking parts to emcee the assembly. We shared the community tour green screen video that we made in social studies! We also sang "I Love a B OO K" for the school. A teacher in our school division named Celeste Krochak wrote the song and recorded it and we learned it from her cd. Then at the end the whole school did Drop Everything and Read. We did a great job at hosting the assembly and sharing our project!
