Yesterday we had an assembly with a performance by Fubuki Daiko, Japanese drumming. It was incredible! They are working with the grade 3-5 students in our school to learn drumming. They will perform at the Evening of the Arts on Thursday night. #lifeinroom4

We are doing a research project together to practice our skills. We are exploring Japan because the Japanese drummers are here his week. When we are done we will do our own places. #lifeinroom4 #mrsdentscarcello

Sometimes when we come in after lunch, there is a message on the board for us to respond to. Today we were writing something nice to a friend. We had to pick a name from the cup and write something nice to them on the board. We were doing it to make other people feel special. #lifeinroom4 #mrsdentscarcello

A group called Fabuko Daiko is coming to our school next week so we have been doing some research on Japan. They are a Japanese drumming group. #lifeinroom4 #mrsdentscarcello

We're back! I had an incredible year at home with Owen, his sister Emily and his brother Oliver. It's hard to believe the year has passed already! I am excited to be back at Bird's Hill in room 4 and the library. Watch for us! #mrsdentscarcello
