For word work today we did a blind sort of our words. Our partner called a word and we had to think about which category it belonged to without seeing the word. It was tricky but we were very good at it. #lifeinroom4

Some of us are in run club and today we went to Dr Hamilton for a race! It's called the Mini-athon. We did so great! #lifeinroom4

Mrs Dent Scarcello has some new roommates!! When I was at home sick on Tuesday I got to watch a robin build this nest, all in one day! I put some yarn out for her and she put it in the basket of her nest. She hasn't been back since and I heard she is out looking for a mate. She should be back when she is ready to lay her eggs! We have been working with Miss Booth a little bit to learn about writing a Fact or Fib book. It's going to be about Canada! Today we found interesting facts about Canada. Next we will write fib versions of those facts and add some more info, and then type them up to make a book! @therealmsbooth #lifeinroom4

Last week I was able to spend two days at a teaching conference in Gimli, Manitoba called Riding the Wave of Change. It was a great two days filled with awesome ideas I can bring back to our school! I was also very lucky that the weather was beautiful and I was able to get outside to this path on the lunch break ☀️ #mrsdentscarcello
