What a Busy Week!

This week was action packed! we started with Valentine's Day. We had a lovely day crafting about love, writing about love and snacking on lovely snacks!

Tuesday was the 100th day of school! We did all things 100 all day. Everyone made a crown with 100 things, 100 glasses and wrote entries for class books. Then there were centres to choose from like "guess which jar has 100", "make handprints until there are 100 fingers", "flip a coin 100 times to see if it will be heads or tails more", "make a tower using 100 Digi Blocks", and 96 others! (No, not really. But there were lots to choose from!) We each brought a collection of 100 things and shared our collections. Finally, we made a live 100!

100 gumballs? Mr. Scarcello helped decorate this, thanks!

100 tallies!

As you may have read in our previous posts from this week, we also had a lot of Royal Readers! They have done such a fabulous job of playing the "royal" role. Thanks for volunteering!

Finally, today was our Read-a-thon and Read With Your Stuffy Day! Phewf! Thank goodness it is a long weekend!

It looks like you had a GREAT 100th day of school. I love the 100 you made with your bodies. Are you still counting days? How many days of school do you think you will have this year?

Hi Mrs. Cassidy,
Thanks for commenting on our blog! Yes, we are still counting the days of school. Today is 105. Anna thinks there will be 200 because we already had our 100th day of school and we might have another 100. Madison thinks there will be 150 because she thinks she remembers from grade 1. Cole thinks there will be 199 because last year it was 199. Jayden thinks there will be 196 because that is what she remembers from last year.
Thank you for visiting our blog!
Adios!
